Islamia Eye Hospital

Islamia Eye Hospital and M.A.Ispahani Institute of Ophthalmology is an opthalmological hospital located in Bangladesh. Since its inception in 1960, Islamia Eye Hospital and M.A.Ispahani Institute of Ophthalmology continues to meet the eye care needs of Bangladesh. The hospital prides itself in the quality of its service, cleanliness, patient handling as well as support services for indoor patients. It also has a medical / surgical follow-up regimen. The hospital and institute currently work in collaboration with different international organisations such as Sight Savers, ORBIS International, Standard Chartered Bank for prevention of blindness. In 2001 the first amniotic membrane processing laboratory in the country was established by ORBIS International at Islamia Eye Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
